In a recent study aiming to examine the “proliferation of homelessness among those in the criminal justice system,” one of the most prevalent reason that homeless inmates came to Colorado after 2012 was marijuana.
Stating a whopping 35.1% of respondents as having moved to Colorado for cannabis, it’s just shy of the 38.9% of respondents that moved there for family.
Performed by the Colorado Department of Public Safety’s Division of Criminal Justice, the survey seems to be “getting mixed reviews.”
