Garden Grove, Calif., Aug. 21, 2018 — /D.M.O. Newswire/ — Kush Bottles, Inc. (OTC:KSHB) (“Kush Bottles” or the “Company”), a leading provider of packaging, supplies, vaporizers, hydrocarbon gases, solvents, accessories and branding services for the regulated cannabis industry, today announced the opening of two new hazmat operating facilities strategically located in the Portland, OR and Seattle, WA metropolitan areas, operating under Kush Energy, a division of Kush Bottles. These facilities will focus on supplying customers in these regions with tested, high quality solvents and hydrocarbons which are essential in the cannabis extraction process for the production of items including oils, edibles and waxes.
The facilities, located in Salem, OR and Tukwila, WA, are strategically positioned to service the needs of customers in both states in their entirety. The Salem, OR location is now operational, while the location outside of Seattle will be online in early September. Both locations will supply ultra-pure hydrocarbon products including N-butane, propane, iso-butane (including blends), dry ice, and ethanol. As consumer demand for a wider variety of vaping and concentrate products continues to increase rapidly, the locations of these hazmat operating facilities will undoubtedly assist the Company in serving both new and existing customers and their evolving needs.
Kush Energy’s expansion into the Pacific Northwest is part of the long-term strategy to have a hazmat distribution site in every key cannabis market where major extraction companies are operating their production facilities. This will allow the Kush Energy team to partner with clients, assisting them in refining their specific gas needs to create the highest quality products for their consumers.
Nick Kovacevich, CEO of Kush Bottles, Inc., commented, “The expansion of our Kush Energy division into the Pacific Northwest is another key step in the execution of our clear growth plan. Step one involved the integration of the division into our operating structure following the acquisition close in May 2018. Step two involves expansion of our operational footprint into key cannabis markets such as the Pacific Northwest where we already have strong relationships with key producers, processors and brands dating back to 2013.”
Mr. Kovacevich continued, “As a result of this expansion our Pacific Northwest customers can now source the highest quality hydrocarbons and solvents in addition to the packaging, vaporizer hardware and supplies they already purchase from Kush Bottles. At the same time, having the peace of mind of product quality, consistency and the hazmat compliant supply chain provided by Kush Energy. All this in an effort to provide our customers with a more effective and efficient supply platform for all of their ancillary needs, a ‘one-stop-shop’ approach which will save them time and money. As the top revenue producing U.S. publicly traded company in the cannabis space, we believe these efforts will reinforce our commitment to exceptional customer service and allow us to continue our explosive growth trajectory.”
Jason Vegotsky, President of Kush Bottles, added, “The reaction from our customers in the Pacific Northwest has been overwhelmingly positive. The expansion into this region now gives the Company a hazmat distribution center in every major cannabis market within the U.S. As the cannabis market expands and matures, the value of providing national support is becoming increasingly vital to the sector’s industry leaders. Kush Bottles is very proud to be one of the trusted partners to help these operators scale and achieve their growth aspirations.”
